
This training has been designed as a self-paced instructional unit. You may work through the curricula at your own pace and time. It is recommended that you work through the modules in succession for optimum effectiveness. The curricula are designed so that you can leave at any time. The instruction includes interactive exercises. Some of these are basic question/response using mouse selection. Others require more involvement on your part. The directions provided here will assist you in successful completion of the training.

Drag and Drop Activities
Some activities ask you to drag an item and drop it elsewhere on the screen.
Select the item to drag by depressing the mouse button. Keep the mouse button
depressed while you drag the item to the appropriate location. Release the mouse
button to “drop” the item. Make sure the item is fully within the
area (box, border, etc.) provided in order for your response to be checked accurately.
Use the “Reset” button to move the items back to their
original location in order to try again. There is no need to reset when you
have successfully completed the activity.
Text Input Activities
Several activities require text input similar to completing a fill-in-the-blank
or essay type question. Just type your response into the space available and
then click the “Check Your Answer” button for feedback.
Website Exploration
Many of the
activities ask you to search for information on a websites and then provide
your responses in the spaces provided. You can resize the curricula window and
the website window in order to view both browser windows simultaneously or you
can minimize one the windows. It is highly recommended that you bookmark the
websites that you link to from the curricula for future reference in your work.
